How long does a brazilian bikini wax last? I'm getting married on Sunday, July 11th, and of course, would like a brazilian bikini wax for my wedding night ;) lol. But with the limited time with how busy I am, I'm thinking I have no choice but to schedule for a wax on the Wednesday before. Will I still be smooth by my wedding night? And also, if anyone has had a brazilian bikini...is it worse pain than a regular bikini wax? How should I prepare for it? Thanks! |
| It can last a couple weeks or even a month. It depends how often you do it.But yeah a brazilian wax in that area can be very painful, however it is worth it. |
How bad does a Brazilian bikini wax really hurt? I was considering getting a Brazilian bikini wax as part of my husbands Christmas present and was wondering how bad it hurts.
I consider myself to have a high pain threshold, I gave birth naturally, but this is a different kind of pain.

| honey you're a trooper!!! You've had a baby and experienced real pain- anything else is guy's games to you lol. If you're that worried about the pain this is what you should do.... Go to Sally's they have this anesthetic spray that you can obviously spray on the area you will be waxing. You leave it on for 3-4 minutes and then proceed with the waxing- even after you pull the hair out you can spray it again to numb the pain and relax the skin again if you need to. It's super cheap and totally worth it if you ask me. Bring it with you to the salon and tell them you want them to put that on you during the wax session- they shouldn't have a problem =) that's how I get mine done. |
How do I undergo my first brazilian bikini wax? Since, past 7 years i have been using a razor but now I wish to undergo a brazilian bikini wax. Also tell me as to how do it myself , in my pubic areas. |
| Don't do it yourself, go to a salon and get it done by a professional. My girlfriend did it herself, but got much better results from a salon. Its worth it. |
What is the process of getting a Brazilian bikini wax? I am thinking about getting my first Brazilian bikini wax soon. I am not really shy about going to get it done but i was wondering what is the process is of getting it?
Can someone please tell me step by step what happens? Do you take your underwear off, leave it on? Do they trim the hair? Where do they start? I know it's a weird question, but the more details the better.
I know everybody has a different experience and there are different methods but i was just wondering your experience.
Thanks! |
This is not a weird question at all. Brazilian Wax- Step-By-Step
It will help tremendously if you do the trimming before you get to your appointment. Take a small clean pair of scissors and maybe a small comb and comb the pubic hair forward and out away from your body. Clip away as much hair as possible safely, without cutting your skin or creating any scratches. Don't worry about areas you cannot see. lol
When you go to the salon or trained/certified esthetician. Make sure that the place is clean and the wax area is neat and spotless. There should be plenty of wooden/plastic spatulas next to the wax (this lets you know that tehre will be no "double-dipping") There should be a table for you to lay out on thats clean and covered.
You will not have on any underwear. You will lay on your back and open your legs. The esthtician will began to spread a small amount of wax onto the hair on you nether region and apply the cloth to remove the hair. They will repeat working his/her way inward.
Then you will turn over and stick your bottom in the air-they will remove the hair from there also.
You should be able to request a cream or spray that numbs the area before the process starts. Just ask in advance when booking the appointment.
Hope I layed it out enough for you. Pay attention to the esthetician. Did they wash there hands? Are they wearing gloves, did the double dip? Watch them and be comfortable. You are the client and you know best. If they are unclean or make you uncomfortable, leave before you pull your pants down! |
How long does a Brazilian Bikini Wax take? About how long does it take for a Brazilian Bikini Wax. I've heard it takes about 15 minutes. Is that true? |
| you won't mind how long it takes if all you can feel is pain |
How far to go for a Brazilian bikini wax? I want to give myself a Brazilian bikini wax. I know a Brazilian is taking off, well everything, but does that include the "lip" (the pink, fleshy part)? Is it safe to wax there? Thanks! |
It is safe to wax there, get a Professional to do it though. it is awkward but they do it every day they don't think any less of you, its there job
It includes all those areas, there will be nothing left at all. |
Can you use an at home bikini wax kit to give yourself an at home brazilian bikini wax? I was wondering that if I bought an at home bikini waxing kit (I was looking at getting an all natural honey wax if that changes things) could I use it to give myself a brazilian bikini wax or should the wax only be used on the area outlined by a bathing suit? |
| they don't work too well... you are best to go to a beauty supply shop and get the professional wax. I have been doing my own brazillians for 5 years and I have tried everything. Basically you get what you pay for. Get good stuff and you'll get a gr8 result |
Do you recommend a Brazilian wax or a bikini wax? I need to get waxed for swimsuit season which is just around the corner. I want to get my legs done for sure, but for the bikini/behind area, I want to be completely bald.
What I want to know is about your experiences with bikini & Brazilian waxes and how much they hurt in your opinion! |
if u want it all off then get it all off.
asking how much did it hurt isn't gonna stop the pain when ur getting it.
but it hurt for me like getting my first tattoo, and that wasn't even as bad as getting the wax, but u'll live |
How to ease the pain of a Brazilian Bikini Wax? I love the result of a Brazilian Bikini Wax, but I hate the pain of having it done. Does anyone no any way to desensitize that area or if taking Tylenol an hour before actually works? Please help!! I have an appointment this week and just want to avoid the agonizing pain. |
| You could try a topical anesthetic. Here in Canada, there is an over the counter product called EMLA, which is a cream you can apply to the skin 20-30 minutes prior to waxing, then wipe off. It is similar to what the dentist brushes onto your gums to freeze it before using the freezing needle. It would work best if you also cover the area with plastic wrap to maximize absorption. It is short acting and will wear off fairly quickly, so it should last just long enough for you to finish. |
Where is the best place to get a brazilian bikini wax in baltimore, md? I want to get a brazilian bikini wax for the first time and was looking for some referrals or tips for my first time. |
| best thing to do is to use yelp! I use it all the time. The review help a lot. Just put in your location and what your looking for. I used it to find a good salon that does Brazilians too here in San Francisco. So good luck =] |
