Should DC and Marvel feature female nudity in their comics? Comic books haven't been for "guys" for many years now, so should the big guys DC and Marvel start including female nudity in their comics. If yes, how much -- full, topless or just bare butt? Or would you rather see a "Mature" audience series by both publishers similar to the MAX line Marvel did, but instead of featuring mainly profanity and graphic violence, it would feature the popular female heroes (Wonder Woman, Black Canary, Invisible Woman, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, etc.) in story lines that periodically had them nude in a shower, undressing, costumes ripped off during a fight, etc.? I feel either of these options would sell REALLY big. | | They've been going back and forth on that for years. I would prefer seeing full nudity over the extreme violence they do especially at DC. | Does anyone know the name of an animated science fiction movie about a female assassin type person? ? I watched ten or so years ago and can't remember a lot of it. I remember the main character was a woman with dark hair. I think she wore a tight black suit that at one point got really tattered and torn. Also, I remember one scene where she has to seduce an disgusting man to get something she needs. I'm pretty sure he rips her shirt open and licks her breasts. I know that there is female nudity in it at least once. It could have been made anytime during the eighties or mid-nineties. Sorry this is all so vague, but I don't remember much. I just really want to find this movie. Thanks! | | That really sounds like the Aeon Flux animated series that aired on MTV. Check it out on youtube to see if it's what you were thinking of. | Women! Would you let your friend use you as a model for his tattoo? He needed an attractive female as a model for his dominatrix tattoo. You guys have been friends for years. It's going to be tasteful as possible, no nudity, more like a classic pinup tat with a modern update.
He's asks you if his tattoo could look like you... what would you say? Would you want it in color or black/white/grey? | If he wants an attractive female as a model for his pin up style tattoo, I would feel flattered that he wanted to base the attractive woman off of myself. I would absolutely let him do it. I'd lean towards black and grey but the colour choice would ultimately be his choice and not mine
To Truth: God I thought we had gotten rid of you.
Your questions keep getting wierder, we get it, you're a wackjob.
Go bother someone else. The religious people seem to like you. Go over there for a bit please. | Looking for a fight? I'm sorry but why is everyone always looking for a fight, gays, lesbians, feminists, blacks, jews, christians, and anybody else who puts themselves in a box. I just read a post on a forum where a woman was mad at the movie forgetting Sarah Marshall because she thought that the movie was sexist because it made female nudity less important because it showed so much penis. Correct me if I'm wrong but haven't feminists been complaining about femal nudity for years saying it "degrades women," This pisses me off because it blatantly confirms that everybody is actually just looking to fight and argue and nobody really gives a damn about finding solutions or caring about the things that really matter. Anybody have a really good something to say to people who are crazy enough to make these kinds of reaches." | | I know a woman like that and a lot of what she says one day is contradicted by what she says the next day. They seem to think that if they get all angry and start ranting about it then someone will listen to them, and in most cases it works. I don’t know what it is about humanity but we seem to listen more to the people yelling and screaming than we do to the people who speak civilly and calmly. I don’t think they want to start a fight majority of the time, I hope that they don’t, but I think that they need that attention from others. And the high you get from when people agree with you and your rant, no matter what the subject. | Did you ever witness anyone having sexual intercourse? I had seen people have sexual intercourse twice.
1.) I was walking by Harvard Yard making my way home from school when I saw two people in Harvard Yard. The people were a man and a woman and they were sitting on the ground. They were Harvard Students and they were boyfriend / girlfriend. They dressed lightly and the woman wore a shirt which exposed cleavage. They were kissing and rubbing each other (no nudity). The man would intermittently kiss / maul her neck and chest. I watched it through the bars.
2.) Last night as I was in the third floor bathroom getting ready for bed, I looked out the window, and through the window of another house floor, I saw some movement. I saw female bare legs, male bare hips, and bare buns moving on a bed. It became clear that two people were having sex. I saw the male get up and he had a black t-shirt on so it became evident that it was partial nudity. He was in his 30s and had dark hair.
It was like the films that contained sex scenes. | | You just witnessed a rape. Did you have your binoculars out too? | List love triangle or male harem (romance) animes like:? Please list animes/mangas that have a love triangle containing a female lead, and two guys that like her OR animes/mangas that have a male harem (meaning one female lead and a lot of guys that like her).
Mild to intense objectionable content (swearing, nudity, violence). Take it easy on the nudity. And absolutely NO hentai.

Thank you in advance! I will be picking best answer!!! | I don't watch too much anime, so I'm only going to suggest manga.
Hana Yori Dango (Love Triangle/Harem)
Moe Kare (Love Triangle)
Barajou No Kiss (Harem)
Stray Love Hearts (Harem)
Koko Ni Iru Yo (Love Triangle) | Could someone tell me how much sexuality is in these anime? I'll post a list of anime, and for people who have seen them, could you please tell me about *any* sexuality/nudity/fanservice? Everything from brief partial nudity/steamy stuff to pantyshots to incest and all the in-betweens. I don't have time to watch every single first episode, but I need to know for my anime club. Also, if you have any recommendations for some clean, good anime, it is very much appreciated. :D
What I have so far that I haven't seen and need reviewed:
Death Note (I've seen *some* of it)
Hetalia: Axis Powers
Soul Eater
D. Gray Man
Azumanga Daioh
Rozen Maiden
FLCL
Full Metal Panic! / The Second Raid / Fumoffu?
Fruits Basket
Vampire Knight
Black Butler
K-On!
Code Geass
Neon Genesis Evangelion
What I've seen and found appropriate for the club:
Ouran High School Host Club
Lucky Star
K-On! (the first episode)
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (except for Lust...)
A show that wouldn't be appropriate (for example):
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (because of Mikuru, which sucks, because TMoHS is awesome Dx)
As you can see... not that much. |D;;
Please list all the inappropriate moments you can think of in these series, or if the female characters wear revealing clothes and whatnot. For anime club, blood and gore and language is okay, but no sexuality or nudity of any kind (although shirtless guys are okay~). XD
Thank you so much, everyone! c(^o^)/3 | From what I know D.Gray-man, Death Note, Soul Eater, Fruits Basket, Vampire Knight and Black Butler are ok (except season 2 of Black Butler, way way way too much fanservice from Hannah :S)
I don't know about Code Geass, there is a shower scene but you can't really see it.. there is a bunny scene at season 2 and there's a swinsuit scene somewhere in the anime.. C.C. has sometimes a bit "fanservice" but not thát much.. and @ fαєтн♔, are you sure you're talking about Code Geass? I've néver heard or seen a scene like that?.. Wasn't it a manga doujinshi?... I can't imagine that something like that would be in CG... | Man conscious of feminine voice, What to do? I hate my feminine voice , which has spoiled my entire life,
it has taken away my ambitions
kept me away my friends ,
kept me away from trips with boy gangs ,since they all have masculine voice,
kept me away from marriages in family since my relatives quickly point out that"OMG u have a girls voice at 29 years of age"
I have a boyish voice mostly which becomes feminine in the worst circumstances in PUBLIC, but "sometimes" in the morning when i get up (due to god's grace) i sound very masculine like my dad, where i have been lazy due to too much sleep.
I love that deep morning voice which is unfortunately lost during the whole day.
I have my mom's voice since i was close to my mom before she passed away
And i have the dreaded obnoxious ,painful, admiration for male nudity, which also has destroyed my life after i became 20,
when i saw male nudes in the internet.(now am 29)
i have started hating good looking men due to the gay ego
i hate long penis due to the fact that i don't have long.
i hate fair gay latinos since they tend to have everything, looks, good sex life, (thank god they don't have dark black skin, nature is not completely generous she holds the dynamic balance.
I love the female nude and boobs and everything of female also
since guyhood but my admiration for male came later (don't know why ,i hate that part of my mind just like my voice which has taken me to hellish life,of solitary days of hot tears and rejections.
the straight crowd hates my awkward voice and boyish looks
and the gay crowd hates my dick and face.
and i live in the fear that every gay encounter gives hiv.
maybe these are my curse which i will carry to my grave. | Wow, this is some heavy stuff.
You have a lot of fear, anger and jealousy in your life, and there is no better time than RIGHT NOW to clear those feelings out.
Learning to accept and love yourself for who, how, and why you are the way you are is very very difficult.
May I suggest an author that I think you might really benefit from?
His name is Jon Kabat Zinn, and he writes all about letting go of negative feelings toward others and toward yourself.
Good Vibes,
Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers. | Do you think the Teeth movie promotes Misandry? Hear me out first..before you are quick to say "No, its only a movie against rapists". I want to make a few quick points that will show that if we apply the same judgments we use to declare if a movie promotes misogyny, then Teeth, I believe, shows itself to engage in Misandry.
1) All males in the movie are horrible people with the exception of Dawn's Father (who is a minor character and also shown to be weak and ineffective in controlling his son) What does this say about men? They are either evil or unable to prevent it. Now, u may say this is an over exaggeration, but how man feminists are upset over the portrayal of all women in the Twilight series as housewives? I mean seriously they couldn't put one decent teenage guy in this entire film? The fact that the guy that appear nice turn out to become one of Dawn's victims seem to drive the point home that absolutely no guy can ever be trusted, and that every male must have ill intentions..meaning women to constantly be on the defensive.
2) If you pay attention to the movie..not all the guys were rapists. They wronged The main character in various ways. But her step bro was actually seduced by her. SHE was the predator. One boy made a bet on getting her in bed. (a nasty thing to do..but deserving of a penectomy?)
3) The main character's vaginal"teeth" are never shown (even though other nudity is). In an interview with the director he made the point that he did not want her to be viewed as a monster, but as a heroine. But the reality is..she was a monster and what she did was monstrous. This is the same as misogynist films were a male character mistreats women, but of course still gets to be viewed as hero because of his status, or accomplishments, or simply because the director wanted it that way.
3) The film portrays all Dawn's actions as justified. It basically give the stamp of approval on a society were women could seek revenge for all kinds of wrong by sexually mutilating men. (in the heat of the moment...victims of course deserve to do Absolutely anything necessary to defend themselves..but Dawn sought bitter revenge after the fact in instances or during consensual sex.) If women found this a movie that's about justice..who is to say that if we ever get a female congress, the new punishment for rape or sexual crimes of any kind will be forced penectomies?
4) There is not a single movie where a man get revenge that is portrayed as justice by mutilatiing a woman. I've heard girls say "o well girls get cut up in movies all the time..you can't just take this one cuz men are the victim's?" Well, here's the big difference for me. Every movie were women are tortured or mutilated...the man who does it is clearly a sick twisted, villain. Dawn on the other hand, is a sweet, nice, genuine teenage girl, saving herself for Jesus. Until all the evil evil men come into her life. The movie protrays such a black and white vision of the genders its really unbelieveable. And if a movie portraye women so negatively and men in a heroic light..can you imagine the outrage from feminists?
With all girls telling me to "lighten up" over this, while they themselves (and rightfully so btw) express outrage at the misogny in our media. It makes me upset that people see men are so unshakeable. We apparently still have so much power that "we can take it". Be the punchline for every joke, have the worst things said about us, have women imagine a paradise world without us. But as a guy who hates misogyny, hates movies that use bloody, abused women for shock value, who tries to stand up to misogyny in the smallest forms on a daily basis. I have to say it hurts me that women generally seem like they don't want to return the favor. The praise and applause this got from its female audience really hurt me. What are your thoughts? | I'm sorry...since when is it a filmmakers' job to uphold the themes you personally approve of?
"Girls" express outrage at the misogyny in the media because it is totally DOMINATED by it...
as opposed to one paltry movie that portrays men negatively that you take the time to pick apart. |
